Vivo V50 with 6.77-inch FHD+ Display and Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC launched in India | Check Price and Availablity

Vivo just released its newest 5G smartphone, named “Vivo V50” which carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Other notable features of the phone are a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a 6,000mAh massive battery with 90W fast charging technology. It is claimed to meet IP68+IP69 rated certification for water and dust resistance. The Vivo V50 runs on Android 15 with FunTouchOS 15 on the top, it will get 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates.

Vivo V50 Price in India and Availablity

The smartphone has been priced in India at Rs. 34,999 for the base 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant. The 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 36,999 and the top-end 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage model costs Rs. 40,999. The Pre-booking has been open from today, February 17th via Flipkart, Amazon.in and offline stores. It will go on sale from February 25th. The handset is available in Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey color options.

As for specs and features, the Vivo V50 offers a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with a 480Hz touch sampling rate, up to 4500nits of peak brightness and HDR10+ support. The display is protected by Diamond Shield Glass. Coming to the operating system, the handset ships with Android 15 with FunTouchOS 15.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC clubbed with Adreno 720 GPU. The Vivo V50 gets up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. In terms of optics, the device sports a dual camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilisation, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

For selfies and video calling, the handset comes with a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The Vivo V50 launches with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging technology. Connectivity options are 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The Vivo V50 gets an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Besides, the device has Vivo’s Aura Light feature, AI features including circle to search, live call translation, translation assist and Erase 2.0. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.29 x 76.72 x 7.39mm and weighs about 189 grams.
