Finally, Samsung’s latest M-series smartphone was unveiled on Monday in India, the Samsung Galaxy M55 alongside the Galaxy M15 5G. However, both phones were initially launched in select global markets earlier this year. The key highlights of the Galaxy M55 5G are a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset is also equipped with a 50MP main rear camera and a 5,000mAh battery.

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 26,999 for the base 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant while the 8GB RAM with 256GB and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage are available at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 32,999, respectively. Customers can purchase the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G in India via Amazon and Samsung India online store. The phone comes in Denim Black and Light Green color options.
Talking about specs and features, the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G ships with Android 14-based OneUI 6.1 Operating System and will get four years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates. The phone brings a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000nits of peak brightness. It carries a 2,400 x 1,800 pixels of resolution. The smartphone comes equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with Adreno 644 GPU.

In photography, it comes with three cameras on the back. The M55 5G includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens.
Coming to the front camera, the Galaxy M55 5G gets a 50MP front sensor with an f/2.2 lens. For security, there’s an under-display fingerprint sensor.
