The well-known Samsung’s A-series comes with another budget-friendly phone, the Galaxy A16 5G in the Indian market. It arrives with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 6.7-inch 90Hz infinity-U display and a 50MP triple rear camera setup. Samsung also brings an IP54 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,000mAh battery.

Pricing list for the Galaxy A16 5G has been displayed at Rs. 18,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, whereas the 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model comes at Rs. 20,999. The phone is available in three colorways, i.e. Blue Black, Gold, and Light Green. It will go on sale through Samsung e-store, Amazon, Flipkart and other retail platforms. Additionally, up to Rs. 1000 cashback will be available on Axis and SBI credit cards.
The Galaxy A16 5G runs on Android 14 with the company’s OneUI 6.0 out of the box. It is confirmed to get 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. The handset features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. Moving to the processor, Samsung has provided a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset along with Arm Mali G57 MC2 GPU.
