Redmi Note 13R is now official, the Chinese smartphone maker company Xiaomi’s latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone. It is the successor to the Redmi Note 13R which was launched last year. It comes with a 6.79-inch FHD+ display, a 50MP dual rear camera setup, and a 5,030mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The phone has been priced at CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,000) for the base 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage model. It also has 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage model, 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model, and 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model model which come at CNY 1,500 (approximaely 19,000), CNY 1,799 (approximatey Rs. 21,000) and CNY 1,999 (approximatey Rs. 23,000), respectively. The top-end model 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage model carries a price tag of CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs. 25,000).
The smartphone is currenlty available for purchase in the Chinese market. Furthermore, it comes in three color options, i.e. Ice Crystal Silver, Light Sea Blue, and Midnight Dark.
The dual-SIM supporting Redmi Note 13R runs on Android 14 with HyperOS out of the box. The handset comes with a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels and up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It features 550nits of peak brightness and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The front panel has a punch-hole cutout and and back side gets two cameras.

The Redmi Note 13R is equipped with a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno 613 GPU. It offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Furthermore, the storage capacity can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 1TB). As mentioned above, the handset supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
For cameras, the handset sports a dual rear camera setup that houses a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Talking about front camera, the device offers an 8MP front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, it includes 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, and GPS. There’s both a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
The notable sensors are an ambient light sensor, acceleration sensor, e-compass, distance sensor, virtual gyroscope, and infrared blaster. The Redmi Note 13R is backed by a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Besides, it measures 168 x 76.28 x 8.32mm and weighs around 205 grams.
