Oppo unveiled on Monday the Oppo K12x 5G in India. The new budget-friendly 5G capable smartphone offers a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It also offers a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 32MP dual rear camera setup. The company claims that it is the first phone in this segment to offer a military grade MIL-STD-810H certification. Furthermore, the device has an IP54-rating and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Oppo K12x 5G Price in India, and Availablity
The Oppo K12x 5G price starts at Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage option. The 8GB RAM with 256GB onboard storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 15,999. Customers can purchase the smartphone in India starting August 2 via Flipkart and Oppo India’s official e-store.
Customers will get a Rs. 1,000 instant discount through select bank cards and a no-cost EMI option up to three month option scheme. The offer will be valid till August 2. It comes in two color options, i.e. Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet.
Moving to the specs and features, the Oppo K12x 5G launches with a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1604 x 720 pixels resolution. It also features up to 1,000nits of peak brightness and dual-reinforced Panda Glass protection. The splash touch technology is offered to operate the phone in wet hand conditions. Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC coupled with Arm Mali G52 MC2 GPU.

It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. In terms of optics, the Oppo K12x 5G sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 32MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. Coming to the front camera, it gets an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calling. Furthermore, the phone offers a MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP54-rated certification for dust and splash resistance.
Oppo K12x 5G packs a 5,100mAh battery that supports 45W SuperVOOC charging technology. For Operating System, it runs on Android 14 based ColorOS 14 out of the box. The handset includes 5G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack. For security, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Besides, it measures 165.79 x 76.14 x 7.68mm and weighs about 186 grams.
