The Chinese smartphone brand iQoo launched a new 5G smartphone in the Indian market, called the iQoo Z9 5G. The handset’s key highlights are a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The iQoo Z9 5G also features an under-display fingerprint sensor and dual-stereo speakers. The smartphone is available in two color options, i.e. Brushed Green, and Graphene Blue.

It has been priced in India at Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage model, while the 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage model comes at Rs. 21,999. It will be available for purchase for all users from March 14 at 2 pm through iQoo India store, and Amazon.in.
The iQoo Z9 5G features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display that carries a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display comes with 394ppi pixel density, 91.90 percent screen-to-body ratio, 1800nits of peak brightness, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and DT Star Plus Glass protection. For software, it runs on Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14 out of the box. Under the hood, it is equipped with a Dimensity 7200 SoC coupled with Mali G610 MC4 GPU. The iQoo Z9 5G gets 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM which can be expanded up to 16GB using additional internal storage.

Further, the iQoo Z9 5G offers up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 onboard storage which you can expand through a microSD card (up to 1TB). The phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Moreover, the Z9 5G includes an accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Besides, the device has an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.
Moving to the cameras, the smartphone brings a dual camera module on the back that houses a 50MP Sony IMX88 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization and an f/1.79 lens, and a 2MP bokeh sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Speaking about front-facing camera, it gets a 16MP selfie and video calling sensor.
The handset has arrived with a 5,000mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support. It delivers up to 68 hours of music playback in a single charge. In terms of connectivity features, the iQoo Z9 5G comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Talking about its dimensions, the handset measures 163.17 x 75.81 x 7.83mm and weighs around 188 grams.
