As for hardware and performance, the Moto Edge 50 Ultra offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC while the Moto Edge 50 Fusion has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The Ultra variant is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage whereas the Fusion variant offers you up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM with up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.
Both the handsets run on Android 14 with HelloUI on the top. They include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The Edge 50 Fusion is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging while the 50 Ultra brings a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Both phones have an under-display fingerprint sensor and an IP68 rating.
For cameras, the Moto Edge 50 Ultra offers a 50MP primary back sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation, a 50MP secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 64MP third telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. On the other hand, the Edge 50 Fusion has a dual camera setup that houses a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. In terms of front camera, the 50 Ultra has a 50MP front camera while the 50 Fusion comes with 32MP front camera.
